We were without a vehicle since we came in on AmTrac, so we were really impressed with the location. Within walking distance to the Temple Square, bus service across the street, it was perfect for us Senior Citizens. The staff was friendly and helpful.
We thought we had booked a King size bed but was a little disappointed that it was only a Queen size. It was a minor thing so we never complained. I think on re exam of my booking it was considered a single King. We weren't aware of this but as I said it was no big thing.

We booked through Booked.net and the hotel claimed it took up to 24 hours for the online bookings to come through. Given we booked 3 hours before we turned up, they would not check us in to a room when we arrived until "it came through on the system"!! We were told this could be hours! So they asked us to sit in the lobby until it came through! Ridiculous. Fortunately after some waiting they realised it had come through but we wonder what would have happened if by midnight it hadn't come through!

Great value for money, a very comfortable room and excellent city centre location.
The breakfast room was too small - we had to stand.

The furnishing were updated. The beds were very comfortable. The AC unit was quiet.
The evening staff was not as friendly as the other staff members. She seemed more interested in other things. She did check me in but there could have been better clarity given as far as directions to my room and that sort of thing. Experience with other staff was excellent.
